Powerbook 150
Introduced in july 1994, the powerbook 150 was apple's first truly affordable powerbook. The powerbook had only serial and SCSI ports and a passive matrix screen and came with an ide- instead scsi-harddisc. The powerbook 150 replaced the powerbook 145B and was about 8 MHz faster. Despite its older case, its internal components were more modern and more similar to those of the powerbook duo 230. It was the first powerbook with an IDE hard drive and the first to utilize more than 14 MB of RAM. To save on price and weight, Apple omitted some ports.
